Why is My Furnace Ignitor Not Igniting?

When your ignitor fails to activate, the culprit could be dirt accumulation, physical damage, or a malfunction within the ignitor itself. This issue is fairly typical and can often be resolved either by cleaning the ignitor or opting for a replacement.

How Do I Know If My Ignitor is Bad?

If you're concerned that the ignitors in your HVAC system might be failing, look out for specific signs: the unit spontaneously starting and stopping, a furnace that doesn't complete its cycles, or cold air pushing through the vents. Observing any of these signs is a signal to reach out to an authorized service technician for a professional assessment.

Why is My Gas Furnace Clicking but Not Igniting or Heating?

If you notice your furnace's ignitor clicking without generating any spark or warmth, it's a sign of a malfunction within the ignition system that's stopping your furnace from firing up. In such situations, it's best to seek the help of a certified HVAC technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
