Ice Maker Not Working/Turning On

  • Unit isn’t plugged in - Plug in the unit.
  • Machine is turned off - Move the power switch on the bottom left of the front panel to the ON position.

  • Ventilation of the machine is bad - Remove anything that’s blocking the unit’s vents.
  • Side pressure is low - Reach out to an authorized technician for assistance.
  • Thermostatic expansion valve is faulty - Call a licensed technician to remedy the issue.
  • Refrigerant is leaking - Seek the assistance of an authorized technician to handle the problem.
  • Unit is overcharged with refrigerant - Schedule an appointment with a licensed technician to service the machine.
  • Water pressure is too low - Contact a licensed plumber to correct the issue.
  • Compressor overload protector stops intermittently - Schedule a service call with an authorized technician to address the issue.
  • Scale on the inside wall of the evaporator freezing cylinder - Reach out to a licensed technician for assistance.

  • Storage bin has an ice block or bridge - Remove all ice from the storage bin if the dispenser won’t be used frequently.
  • Storage bin wiring is incorrect - Set up a service appointment with an authorized technician.
  • Agitator is deformed due to an ice block or bridge - Call a licensed technician to handle the issue.
  • Solenoid coil winding is opened - Reach out to an authorized technician to correct the fault.
  • Ice switch or dispensing sensor contacts are bad - Seek the assistance of a licensed technician to address the issue.
  • Ice dispensing relay contacts are bad - Contact an authorized technician to solve the problem.

Unit Not Dispensing Water

  • Dispensing water valve filter is clogged - Clean the filter.
  • Water dispensing sensor is defective - Reach out to an authorized technician to address the issue.

Machine Keeps Dispensing Ice

  • Shutter adjustment is faulty - Lock the shutter in place by securing it with two screws at the lower part of the solenoid and two screws under the solenoid.
  • Ice dispensing switch contacts are fused - Call a licensed technician for assistance.

Ice Dispenser Won’t Stop, Even if out of Water

  • Float switch is clogged - Clean the float switch.

Ice Tastes Bad/Is of Poor Quality

  • Water quality is poor - Either supply the unit with filtered water or reach out to a licensed plumber to address the issue.
  • Water filter is dirty - Clean the water filter.
