Steps to Changing an Everpure Water Filter
- Step 1. Turn off the water supply.
- Step 2. Open the faucet to relieve pressure.
- Step 3. Firmly grasp the filter housing and twist it to the left until it falls away.
- Step 4. Pull the old filter down and out of the head.
- Step 5. Align the new filter’s lug with the head label and insert it.
- Step 6. Twist the new filter to the right until it stops rotating.
- Step 7. Turn on the water supply and run water through the filter system to drain it.
- Step 8. Check for leaks.
- Step 9. Reset the filter indicator if applicable.
How Often Should I Change My Everpure Filter?
It’s recommended that you change out your Everpure filter once a year. On most systems, there’s a filter monitor that will let you know when that time comes. You should consider changing it earlier, however, if you notice a decrease in water flow or a change in the way your water tastes.
