Need to get your Blodgett oven cleaned and ready for the next dinner rush? We have you covered. Follow these steps on how to clean and maintain a Blodgett Invoq oven and you’ll have it sparkling in time for the next service.

Supplies

Cleaning a Blodgett Invoq Oven Exterior

  • Step 1. Clean the door sealing daily to keep the silicone clean and free of debris, allowing for a proper seal.
  • Step 2. With a soft, damp cloth and liquid detergent, clean the exterior of the unit.
  • Step 3. Clean the oven door with a window cleaner and a clean cloth.
  • Step 4. Treat the surface with a steel oil.

Optional: Using the Hand Shower

  • If your unit has a hand shower, it can be used to wash down or flush away any food debris in the oven cavity.

Cleaning the Air Intake Filter

  • Step 1. Push the snap.
  • Step 2. Remove the complete air intake filter.
  • Step 3. Slide out and remove the air filter.
  • Step 4. Clean the air filter under running water or replace it if necessary.
  • Step 5. Put the air intake filter back in reverse order of how it was removed.

Cleaning the Drip Tray

  • Step 1. Open the oven door.
  • Step 2. Release the inner glass.
  • Step 3. With soapy water and a cloth, wipe the drip tray clean.
  • Step 4. If the water outlet is clogged, use the hand shower to clean it.
  • Step 5. Fasten the inner glass back in place.
  • Step 6. Close the oven door.

Cleaning the Fat Separation

  • Step 1. Pour half a liter of water through the siphon in the oven cavity.
  • Step 2. Remove the fat separation container from underneath the oven.
  • Step 3. Throw out the dirty water.
  • Step 4. Clean the fat separation container in the sink.
  • Step 5. Place the fat separation container back into the box beneath the oven.

Starting a CareCycle Wash

  • Step 1. Choose CareCycle in the home screen menu.
  • Step 2. Select the type of wash you want.
  • Step 3. Make sure the oven is empty and choose YES.
  • Step 4. Place the proper number of CareCycle Clean tabs into the strainer.
  • Step 5. Press YES.
