This guide is for 2030 and 2040 series models, including the 2030, 2032, 2040, 2041 and 2042.

Starting Up the Unit

Take care near the unit if you have long hair, loose clothing or dangling jewelry as these can get caught in the conveyor belt. Also, remember to never place food on parchment paper since it may catch fire inside the machine.

  • Step 1. Plug in the power cord - Connect the unit to power by plugging the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  • Step 2. Power on the machine - Use On/Off switch to power on the toaster. Once the unit is powered on, the green light will illuminate.
  • Step 3. Choose a cooking mode - Use the machine’s preset configurations or a pre-programmed menu item to cook food, or adjust settings manually as needed. See the sections below for instructions on each operating mode.

Using Preset Configurations

Use the unit’s preset  temperature, intensity and speed configurations for quick and easy operation.

  • Step 1. Put food product onto the belt - Place food items on the feed end of the conveyor belt at the front of the machine.
  • Step 2. Allow food items to pass through the unit - Let the food product pass through the cooking chamber. Note that conveyor speed will depend on machine settings.
  • Step 3. Remove food product from the belt - Retrieve the cooked food items from the discharge end of the belt.

Selecting a Menu Item

Select a menu item to use pre-programmed configurations.

  • Step 1. Choose a pre-programmed menu item - Press and release one of the menu item buttons, marked as a number 1 through 4, in order to use the saved settings.
  • Step 2. Load food product - Place food items on the feed end of the conveyor belt.
  • Step 3. Cook food items - Allow food product to pass through the cooking chamber of the toaster. Remember that belt speed will depend on the pre-programmed menu settings.
  • Step 4. Retrieve cooked food items - Collect food product as it exits the machine.

Using Manual Mode

Enter settings manually when cooking custom items in a single session. Remember that any changes won’t be saved unless you save them as a preset.

Adjusting Settings

  • Step 1. Access the temperature setting - Enter the temperature setting by pressing and releasing the thermometer button once. The current setting, shown as a number ranging from 0.5 to 10, will appear on the screen. See the FAQ section below for guidance on how to read this value.
  • Step 2. Adjust the temperature setting - Change the temperature by using the up and down arrows to raise or lower the setting, then press the thermometer icon to save the new value.
  • Step 3. Access the temperature balance configuration - Begin adjusting the temperature balance (the amount of heat emanating from the top vs. bottom of the cooking chamber) by pushing and releasing the thermometer icon twice. The present configuration, shown as a number from 5 to 200, will display on the screen. For more information on how to interpret this number, see the FAQ section below.
  • Step 4. Modify the temperature balance - Use the up and down arrows to raise or lower the number representing the temperature balance configuration, then push the thermometer icon to save your changes.
  • Step 5. Access the belt speed setting - Press the clock icon to gain access to belt speed mode. The current setting, from 0:15 seconds and 5 minutes, will appear on the screen. If needed, refer to the FAQ section below for an explanation on what this number means.
  • Step 6. Adjust the belt speed - Change the speed at which the conveyor belt passes through the cooking chamber by using the up arrow to increase the speed or the down arrow to decrease it. Once you reach the desired speed, save it by pressing the clock icon.

Lincoln Fusion Conveyor Toaster Operating Instructions FAQs

What are the Lincoln Fusion’s Temperature Settings?

The Lincoln Fusion conveyor toaster doesn’t display the temperature setting in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. Instead, it uses a numeric heat‑intensity scale from 0.5 to 10.0, where 0.5 is the lowest heat setting and 10.0 is the highest.

How Does the Unit Measure the Top vs. Bottom Temperature Balance?

The Lincoln Fusion represents the temperature balance between the top and bottom of the cooking chamber with a number from 5 to 200. Refer to the following guidelines when adjusting the settings:

  • 5-95: More Top Heat and Less Bottom Heat
  • 100: Equal Heat Top vs. Bottom
  • 110-200: More Bottom Heat and Less Top Heat

What Are the Unit’s Belt Speed Settings?

The Lincoln Fusion belt speed can be set anywhere from 0:15 seconds to 5:00 minutes. Remember that a faster speed means that food items will spend less time cooking in the unit while a slower speed indicates that food products will spend more time in the machine.

What Are Some Safety Concerns When Operating the Unit?

Maintain safety while operating the toaster by being mindful of long hair, loose clothing or dangling jewelry as these can get caught in the belt. Also, don’t place food items on parchment paper since it may catch fire inside the machine.
